The waves gently rock us back and forth as we swim together, a pod of dolphins cruising through the vast expanse of the ocean. We chatter and chirp to one another, sharing stories of our adventures and experiences. Suddenly, a new voice joins the conversation, one that we've never heard before. It's a young dolphin, full of energy and enthusiasm, eager to explore the world around us. We welcome it into our pod and together we set off on a new adventure, ready to discover all the wonders that the ocean has to offer.
About the Game
Get ready to discover the wonders of the ocean in "A Dolphin's Tale", an immersive solo or cooperative narrative-based game where you become a daring dolphin exploring the vast blue depths.
As you journey through the mysterious underwater world, you'll encounter dangerous predators and other obstacles that require your quick thinking and creativity to overcome. With each choice you make, you'll shape the direction of your adventure, leading to unique and memorable experiences every time you play.
But you need to be cautious, as there can always be something lurking around the coral.
The Game Mechanics
This card-based TTRPG follows a three-phase structure: Construction, Adventure, and Resolution. In the Construction phase, players use cards to create their dolphin character, including its qualities, flaws, and motivations. During the Adventure phase, players explore the ocean, interact with the environment, and encounter other sea creatures. In the Resolution phase, players make choices that impact the outcome of their story and reflect on what they learned throughout their adventure. This game offers a unique and engaging experience for players to create their own stories and explore the oceanic world as a dolphin.
